(3 star graded) Deepdale Camping 80 pitch campsite for tents and campervans spread across 5 hedged paddocks. Two modern shower and toilet blocks, with washing up facilities and water points. (4 star graded) Deepdale Tipis Authentic Sioux Native American tipis sleeping upto 6 people, with faux fur mattresses and woodburner inside, BBQ outside. Deepdale Information Visitor information centre and booking office, internet access, leaflet racking, camping equipment and guide book sales. Deepdale has won many awards and accolades including a Gold Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme. The Lonely Planet says, “Burnham Deepdale is home to one of the country’s best backpacker hostels, around which activities pool.” The Times says, “The most stylish backpackers hostel you'll ever see.” Deepdale accommodates over 30,000 bed nights a year and is busy throughout the year with peaks in the summer holidays. You may well have seen some of the awards and press coverage - Lonely Planet describes Deepdale as one of the best hostels in the UK. Having completed another record breaking summer season, Alister, the managing partner of Deepdale, is retiring. He’s decided its time to spend more time on some of his great loves, including Verily (his wife), sailing, travel and his grandchildren. LOCATION: Deepdale Tourism is set back from the main Coast road opposite the village Church, and next door to Dalegate Market, where there are other shops, a cafe, supermarket and fuel station. Burnham Deepdale is a small, sought-after village on the North Norfolk Coast, within an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is easy access to the famed sailing harbour, creeks and marshes at the neighbouring village of Brancaster Staithe, and the well known Championship Golf Course, and a sandy beach are at Brancaster (2 miles). Further sailing facilities are offered in Burnham Overy Staithe (3 miles). Shopping, sporting educational, & leisure facilities are available in Wells (8 miles), and Hunstanton (9 miles).
